“ We had lunch after shopping at Mercatopoli. Staff was welcoming and patient. the other customers were friendly and helpful as well, and chatted with us freely. Counter, dinning area, and bathroom were clean and well kept. I read a past review where they said there is no lock on the bathroom door but there is a lock and no problems I saw. Anti-Covid protection measures were well observed, with masks worn when not eating and tables well spaced apart, you will need a Green Pass to dine in of course. There is seating both inside and outside. The view across the street is of the sea and towards Gaeta, it is quite beautiful. I had the spaghetti with clams and mussels (spaghetti alle vongole) and my friend had sausage with grilled vegetables (salsiccia con verdure grigliate). Bread was provided. We followed with coffee (expresso and cappuccino). Everything was delicious and fresh. The portion of pasta was quite generous. The frittata, cannelloni, and pastries also looked wonderful but we were too full to try more. Looking forward to the next trip here. Highly recommend! ”
